Steven created 4 different tours to guide you along the Riviera Maya and Peninsula of Yucatan
Between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, just 30 minutes from the International Airport of Cancun there is a road known as Ruta de los Cenotes. Around this area we still have extensive areas of amazing jungle, we will visit two great birding sites to see a large variety of species such as the Barred Antshrike and endemics like the Yucatan Woodpecker and Yucatan Jay.

The breath-taking Biosphere of Ria Lagartos is well known to have the chance to see a great variety of birds and other animals in their natural habitat. Have a stunning boat-ride along the "river", do bird-watching on land trying to find endemics like the Mexican Sheartail and the Yucatan Wren among others.

I the western part of the state Quintana Roo we will be birding in and around a typical village, this half-day tour will take you through amazing and different habitats.
The people live mainly of agri,- and api-culture which makes it a very interesting place to go birding. Birding with a local touch.

Located close to Tulum, there are peaceful areas in the surroundings of some wonderful Mayan archeological sites and spectacular mangroves. Enjoy a wonderful morning where at the same time you’ll see many birds, you also will learn more about the history of the great Mayan civilization.
